Why Leno gets laughs on the street
You've seen those bits on the Tonight Show where Leno goes around asking normal seeming folks simple trivia questions about the news, haven't you. Well another key victory
in keeping Leno funny was won recently in New Jersey.
So now putting a picture of the President of the United States up in a classroom next to a flag or a copy of the Declaration of Independence is somehow outrageously offensive. And it wasn't enough to simply take down the photo
. Oh no, the teacher must lose her job.
Keep in mind that these are middle school children. Not voters. The teacher is reported to be a Bush supporter (ah, now the problem is apparent!) but she didn't brainwash
the kids or anything. She put a picture of the guy in charge of the country on the wall. Are parents going to be outraged if anyone actually teaches these kids who the president is
? They actually insisted that Kerry's picture go up in the montage of presidents! I wonder what would have happened had she put up a picture of Al Gore?
