    People, listen what I tell you

    Stevie. Ray. Vaughan.

    Live in Tokyo. Don't just hear it. Listen to it.

    I'll have to get it -- I love the SACD version of "Couldn't Stand the Weather." Tin Pan Alley is a daily play...

    Thanks for the tip M@!

    Ah, I am constantly playing "Things That I Used Do" from that CD...I have a live video of him playing it (Loreley, I think) that is pretty true to the studio version... Live from Tokyo has a mean "Tin Pan Alley" on it though. It's pretty gratifying to hear Japanese people appreciating SRV doing Hendrix too. When he starts playing "Voodoo Chile" the crowd goes nuts...

    Cheers,
    M@

    For Free:

    We are living for free;
    The air is for free,
    The clouds are for free.
    Hills and dales are for free;
    Rain and mud are for free;
    The outside of cars,
    The entrance to movie houses,
    The store windows are for free;
    It is not the same as bread and cheese,
    But salt water is for free;
    Freedom will cost you your life,
    But slavery is for free;
    We are living for free,
    For free.
