    Live Shot strikes again

    Blogs For Bush has a caption contest going.

    I am not registered there so I can't enter the contest but my caption is:

    "John Kerry, shown here pulling his head out of his ass in preparation for tonight's debate, also worked on disproving the perception that he is not athletic. 'A damnable lie,' he told us"

    Good one. I saw the photo just before reading that Burke's Peerage is claiming that Kerry is a descendant of Muhammad. Read it here:

    "Mr. Kerry is kinsman of the Shi'ite shahs of Persia (the most famous was Shah Abbas I, who reigned from 1587 to 1629), as well as the Muslim kings of Tunisia, all of whom — Democratic presidential nominee included — descend from the prophet Muhammad."

    Wow, what a guy. I'll have to rethink this whole election!

    Bush can’t fix the mess in Iraq because he pretends things are fine. Pretending is no substitute for planning.

    Pretending is a word I generally describe Kerry with, coincidentally. I believe the picture for the caption contest shows Kerry pretending he plays football.

    Are seriously contending that Bush is insisting that everything is fine in Iraq(much the same as Kerry refused to acknowledge his troubles in the polls, for instance)? Are you seriously suggesting that Kerry has come up with convincingly viable alternatives even when allowed to use retrospect and hypotheticals? Are you also implying that Kerry has a good plan for Iraq?

    Come on.

    For Free:

    We are living for free;
    The air is for free,
    The clouds are for free.
    Hills and dales are for free;
    Rain and mud are for free;
    The outside of cars,
    The entrance to movie houses,
    The store windows are for free;
    It is not the same as bread and cheese,
    But salt water is for free;
    Freedom will cost you your life,
    But slavery is for free;
    We are living for free,
    For free.
