Clash of the Titan
The Cassini probe at Saturn is going to make a fly-by of Titan
, the largest moon orbiting that planet, in about 10 hours from now. This pass will be the closest ever made, from about 745 miles up. That's pretty close, considering we know next to nothing about this hunk of dirt rolling around up there. Should be a good show, if NASA got the calculations correct. So far it looks like Cassini is a success so a little optimism is not out of order...
